AVID OUTDOOR SPORTSMAN - Non-Resident
ONTARIO MOOSE HUNTING
NORTH AMERICA'S BIG GAME

Moose aquatic feeding areas and moose wintering areas are abundant in this Unit.
Because of the remote marsh meadows or moose pastures, this area has been proven to be very successful for hunters each season. For some, the best moose hunting occurs when snow blankets the ground. There is a certain thrill that comes with tracking and stalking the majestic moose as they travel the snowy landscape.

A non-resident who wishes to hunt moose in Ontario must have a valid hunting accreditation and be a registered guest and actually accommodated at a tourist establishment authorized to issue non-resident moose validation tags. You must have the validation tag prior to purchasing your moose license. When you purchase your moose license you receive a calf tag. Any member of your group can shoot the adult moose even though the adult moose tag was received by one member of your group.

Hunts can be Self Managed or a Guide can be arranged.
Please hunt within the guidelines of the Ontario Hunting Regulations.
It's the law "Hunter Orange" - 65% body coverage.

Because of the many marshes nearby, one can find some of the best duck hunting in Northern Ontario. You will find mallards, bluebills, wood ducks, teals, ring necks and geese. The non -resident can also hunt for small game – fox, rabbits, grouse, partridge, wolf and coyote.

Hearty, home cooked, all-you-can-eat meals served family style can be arranged!
Fire pits with free wood (upon request) and horseshoe pits are on site!

To avoid disappointment, book early for one of the most enjoyable outdoor experiences with that Northern Hospitality.
