SNOWMOBILING

Timberline Lodge is located on Long Lake. The Lake is approximately 40 miles long. The area is a mix of coniferous forest and hardwoods. It is bound by the Quebec border to the East, the Montreal River to the South, the Watabeag River to the West and Lake Abitibi and the Abitibi River to the North. This area is truly the quiet Canadian Wilderness.  The Lodge is 2 hours north of North Bay.

TRAILS:

The clearly marked, well groomed trails are part of the Timiskaming Abitibi Trail Association, OFSC District 14. The Lodge is located minutes from Local trail L162 that connects to Top Trunk Trail OFSC A. It does not take long to sled to Kirkland Lake, Charlton, Englehart, Elk Lake or Matachewan.

The township roads to the lodge are well maintained in the winder.  There is ample room for parking vehicles and trailers.  The town of Englehart allows snowmobiles on its streets.
